| Bill's Pride & Joy |
| Bill Covington, Owner of Rambler Farm near Conover N.C has been raising game fowl for over 50 years. Rambler Farm is a small back yard type operation, consisting of 4 separate locations and just as many partners Rambler Farm was founded in 1942. By Lloyd Childers of Rockingham N.C., where Bill worked as a young boy. Bill’s father & Lloyd were good friends before his father’s death when Bill was 2 years old. So I guess Lloyd kind of adopted Bill. After Bill got out of the Army, Lloyd was called to preach & became a very successful Evangelist. That’s when Lloyd gave Bill the last birds he had on the place & gave Bill permission to use the name Rambler Farm. Rambler Farm over the last 20 years has specialized in Pinnon Fowl. Bill & his partners have bought trios on many occasions from Herman Pinnon & have pictures below of Mr. Pinnon & his farm. Herman Pinnon, a resident of Dexter Missouri, died on March 13, 2002. Since the death of Herman Pinnon, Bill has decided to sell a few brood trios. He says his prices are very reasonable. This is pictures of Herman Pinnon on the Pinnon Farm picking out trios. |

They will hold their own in any company in the world and cross well with most breeds. |
